Filipinos in Austria are invited to the online information session on Ateneo’s ALSE OF-LIFE Program to be held on 11 January 2025. This online session is in preparation for the actual Executive Education Certificate Course on Leadership, Financial Literacy and Social Entrepreneurship for Overseas Filipinos that will be held in Vienna in the first quarter of 2025. The course is being offered by the Ateneo School of Government in cooperation with the Migrant Workers Office in Vienna and PACES.
The Overseas Filipinos Leadership, Innovation, Financial Literacy and Social Entrepreneurship (OF-LIFE) programme was formerly called the Ateneo Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (ALSE) programme. Thus the acronym, ALSE-OF-LIFE.
The programme started in Rome, Italy in 2008, seeks to empower Filipino migrants and their families to become highly respected members of society who contribute to nation-building. It does this through well-designed training modules that embue participants with the needed leadership qualities, financial acumen and social innovative skills. The certification course rns for 6 months , with 2 sessions scheduled each month.
SInce its inception, the programme has been successfully conducted in 39 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. More than 5000 students have graduated from the programme as alumni.
